My Story
The daughter of an Italian immigrant who crossed oceans for a better future, Teresa Cillo has built a life that honors both legacy and personal ambition. Armed with a graduate degree, a fearless spirit, and an unwavering belief in integrity and perseverance, she’s carved her own path in the insurance industry, helping people protect what matters most.
As a Sales Broker at Achieva Insurance, Teresa doesn’t just sell policies, she builds trust. She’s proud to have found a career that aligns with her purpose, allowing her to make a difference in people’s lives.
At 29, Teresa arrived in Florida with a suitcase and a baby on the way. The fear of the unknown was real but so was the fire in her soul. Today, at 54, she’s strong, centered,
and completely fearless. She finds empowerment in staying active, maintaining a close relationship with God, and surrounding herself with beauty, whether it’s music, literature, or painting. “I’ve returned to the passions of my childhood,” she says, “and in them, I’ve rediscovered myself.”
What makes her the happiest?
“The smile of my child. It reminds me that every risk was worth it. That love, above all else, is my greatest success.”
What advice would she give her younger self?
“Fear only exists in your mind. Chase the desires of your heart. You were born for more.”
