Sharon Conklin Perez

Sharon Conklin Perez is where creativity meets strategy, and where broadcast media finds its passionate voice. A seasoned Senior Marketing Consultant at Beasley Media Group in Tampa, Sharon blends a solid background in sales, account management, and on-air experience with a heart for service and connection. Following in her father’s entrepreneurial footsteps, she has carved a respected space in the radio, digital, and events industry, inspiring many, especially women, to break barriers.

Sharon is the founder of Runway for a Cause, an annual fundraising event now in its fourth successful year. She received the 2022 Award for Community Involvement from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year program, and continues to

serve on its leadership team. She is also an ambassador for the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce and holds positions on several nonprofit boards.  Empowerment for her means movement, learning, and rising to a challenge with resilience and heart.

What makes her the happiest?

Outside of work, Sharon is happiest by the water, cruising on a boat with her husband Rick and their beloved Maltese, MJ. She loves nature, neighborhood walks, beach days, reading, and exploring new passions like cooking. She also cherishes visits with her nieces and nephew.

What advice would she give her younger self?

“Every opportunity will come from a relationship. Connect with people deeply. Protect your energy. Say no to what drains you, so you can say yes to what inspires you. And

always lean into the challenge, they’re where the growth lives.”
