My Story
Devika Sabrina Ramcharan is part creator, part connector, all heart! Born in Flushing, Queens to Guyanese parents with Portuguese and Southeast Asian roots, Devika carries a rich cultural tapestry. From modeling at 12 to bartending, managing nightclubs, studying criminal law, and mastering cosmetology, her life has been a bold exploration of passions, each chapter building toward a deeper truth: she was made for more. Today, she brings her diverse talents into her roles as an event planner, brow artist, and salon owner, spaces where creativity meets confidence, and where women come not just to get services, but to be seen, and feel empowered.
Walking away from the retail corporate world was a turning point, where she chose fulfillment over familiarity. Devika thrives in her element: being the woman who
makes things happen for others. She does that in her salon; while planning a memorable event; or when acting as a personal “plug” for women who need a little lift. Devika lives for great music, through an impressive range of genres. Her perfect idea of relaxation is a
massage, a nice hot bath, followed by family movie nights with popcorn and companionship.
What makes her the happiest?
Helping women access what they need, whether it’s personal shopping, styling, a beauty boost, or just someone to hype them up. I love being that connector. It may look like a service, but at its heart, it’s about lifting women up and reminding them of their own magic.
What advice would she give her younger self?
“Collaboration over competition. Quality over quantity. You are worthy of everything you want. Own it, and grow with people who challenge your view.”
