My Story
Marie Grace Mathews is the heart and soul behind MGM Bartending, a mobile hospitality company that began as a small local team and has now grown into a national brand with over 400 professionals. A USF graduate in medicine and biochemistry, Marie traded the lab coat for the cocktail shaker, channeling her curiosity, creativity, and precision into the world of mixology. With over 24 years of bartending experience, she built MGM on a
foundation of class, service, and style.
Beyond the bar, Marie is a dedicated wife, mother of three boys, and stepmother to two more. Her household runs on equal parts hustle and heart, and she brings that same energy to everything she touches. Whether serving on school boards, coaching youth sports, or advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights and underserved communities, she’s deeply committed to building a better world.
What makes her the happiest?
“I’m surrounded by joy: my boys, my business, my team, and friends who lift me up. But my greatest happiness is my husband, my rock, my best friend, and my heart. His love lights up my world in ways I’ll never be able to put into words.”
Advice to Her Younger Self
