Acqanetta Hunt

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist | Model

"I’ve grown to love the joy of missing out."

My Story

A Doctor of Physical Therapy by day and a fashion and lifestyle model by passion, Acquanetta is redefining balance on her own terms. She was born in Tallahassee

and is currently based in Tampa, where she juggles many roles: federal government healthcare professional, liturgical dancer, Delta Sigma Theta sorority member,

wife, and a proud mom to four children. But her proudest evolution hasn’t come from accolades or milestones – it’s been the quiet, internal shift of learning to say no. “I used

to say yes to everything to seem reliable. It wore me out. Now, I know the power of prioritizing peace.” Joy, for her, lies in setting boundaries, embracing calm, and focusing

her energy on what truly matters.

With age, her faith in Christ has grown stronger, and today, joy looks like worship through song and dance. Modeling, a passion she set aside years ago, has come  roaring back to add a vibrant new dimension to her life. She made her New York Fashion Week debut at 41, proof that it’s never too late to pursue a dream with fresh energy and confidence.

What makes her the happiest?

Family, without hesitation. Whether she’s binge-watching a show after a long week, traveling with her kids and husband, or soaking in her father’s home-cooked meals

on weekends, Acquanetta’s joy is rooted in connection, legacy, and love.

What advice would she give her younger self?

Worry less. Trust more. If it’s for you, God will make a way. And if not, it wasn’t yours to carry.
